Final 85th Academy Award Nomination Predictions

Well this date came rather quickly this year.  Oscar nominations will be announced tomorrow.  Once again there will be an undetermined amount of Best Picture nominees (somewhere between 5 and 10) so correctly predicting the big category will be difficult.  Argo, Lincoln, Les Miserables, Silver Linings Playbook and Zero Dark Thirty appear to be locks while Django Unchained and Life of Pi seem to be safe bets.  General thought seems to be that there will be 8 nominees (there were 9 last year) so I will be predicting that many for my own set of predictions.  That last spot seems to be between Amour, Beasts of the Southern Wild and Moonrise Kingdom.  As I have been finalizing my predictions over the past week all have had their turn in the last spot but I finally stopped on Beasts of the Southern Wild.  Other things to look out for is Lincoln leading the field with 13 nominations, Skyfall being a major technical award contender, and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey getting completely shut out (after making the unwise decision of doing their visual effects bake-off presentation in 48FPS).
